When to Visit Disney?

We had a recent trip cancelled due to illness and are attempting to reschedule. I chose the beginning of March to fit our schedule then saw on mousesavers that its the WORST time to go! Is that True? I hate going at the busiest times of the year, is it possible it will be that awful. Our particular style of going to the parks is to go early leave in the early afternoon and come back to close the park so we rarely are in the park from 12-3 or 4pm anyway.

It depends on which week you are going because Easter is early this year and alot of breaks are around Easter. The week before and after Easter are the most crowded of the year besides Christmas. However, if you plan on the first or second week of March I think you should be OK. Your plan to get there early,take a break in the afternoon,and use fast pass is a good one. Enjoy!

Our favorite times of the year for WDW are mid May and early Oct. before Columbus day. The weather is always warm at these times which is important for our family because after along day of walking we like to go to the pool in the evening. Both these times of the year WDW is not that crowded because people are waiting for either Memorial Day or Columbus Day weekends. If you can change to mid May you will miss all of the Spring Break crowds and have better weather IMHO, what ever that is worth.

We just got back from our early December trip and the weather was wonderful and the crowds were light. A big change from our October 03 trip. I highly recommend early December.
