When to use MM Next Week - Tue or Thu?

We have one magic morning to use next week - and since the crowds have been so ridiculously busy, I am wondering when we should use it.

We arrive Monday afternoon, and planned to use MM on Tuesday. BUT - if Monday is rainy and miserable, and then Tuesday is nice and sunny - I could see Tuesday being a madhouse. If this is the case, perhaps I should save our MM for Thursday?

BUT - just read a post that this past week a family went to Thursday's MM and the line for Peter Pan was all the way to the castle. Dumbo was no better. They rode Dumbo and left. What a TOTAL waste of a MM - I'd be devasted! When I had a MM 15 years ago during spring break, I did ALL of the rides (and some twice) in the hour!

I am beginning to wonder how 'useful' MM is on a really busy day, considering there is no 'cap' on how many people cram into Fantasyland for an hour.

Maybe the crowds are getting 'wise' and all heading to Peter Pan first during their MM? Maybe an alternate strategy would be good.

Man - I wish Ridemax included MM!!!

So - what do you think - MM Tuesday or Thursday? Maybe monitor the weather? Maybe skip Peter Pan for the magic morning?

I would do Tuesday and make the best of it. When we go in August we can get 8 different rides done with PP being first(sometimes twice) and then dumbo and on. Have fun.

Thanks! We were planning on Tuesday, so maybe we'll just go for it.

I am wondering if the 9am opening time is what's messing up MM for spreak break? They do open at 8am in April, but only 9am for the last two weeks of March. They consider this 'peak' time and are open till midnight, so why not open at 8am?

I've found Thursdays to be the slowest MM days, in my experience. I think it's because more people make 4 or 5 day weekends, coming friday staying until Tuesday (or even thursday afternoon). It seems like there is less "overlap" of weekend/weekday crowds on Thursday. But, most of my experience is in the off season.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Also, most trips start on Friday, Saturday or Sunday - in which case, either a Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday MM would be used (since most people would likely want to use their MM the first possible day they can, just to be safe).

But...someone reported on this forum that last Thursday's MM was insane!

I soooo wish Ridemax would incorporate some info for MM days!
