When can I start calling to get the AP rates? 12:00am tonight or first thing in the morning. I already have the Wilderness Lodge Courtyard view for Dec 3 for 4 nights AAA rate $237 a night. Sure would like to make it Concierge with the extra savings. And also, I can pruchase the AP when we arrive at the Lodge, Right?

GA Girl, you can call at midnight, but no one will answer the phone. Disney lets the CM's sleep! Seriously, they don't open till 7am EST, so that's when you can start calling.

Yes, you can buy your AP when you arrive.

Have a great vacation!

Not at the Lodge - If you don't yet have an AP, you will have to purchase it and have it activated at one of the park's guest relations/services or at Downtown Disney - I've just been reading about this myself. It will be sort of a pain to have to head to a park and then my hotel - but if the discount is good, it is worth it! I was going to buy it at my Disney store but since I'm going to have to go by a park first, I'll just wait and buy it there...

Good question? I know the have a spot for it on Disneyworld.com where you can, but I thought you had to have a finger print or something.

swimmom,

You can purchase the AP VOUCHER on line. But it must be activated at guest services at one of the parks.

You are suppose to have the activated pass at check in, but most of us here (including myself) have checked in with just the voucher. Sometimes they don't even ask for that, but I wouldn't take the chance of not having it. Also, on occasion, if you only have the voucher at check in they will ask you to stop by the desk later after you have activated it.

I have never done it, but I understand that you can also purchase an ACTIVATED AP at the Disney store at MCO.

From what I understand you can buy the activated AP in the Disney store at the Airport. Then you will have it in your hand at check in. I was going to do this because I am going to the hotel in a town car with no way of stopping at a park first. Has anyone else done this?

You do not need an activated pass to check-in. So do not go to the park just to get the pass activated before you check-in. It is not necessary. They probably won't even ask to see the pass or the vouocher. Also remember that you do not need an adult pass to get an AP rate, you can use a childs pass and save money. That is what we did and reservations told us it was not a problem and is done all the time.

I have bought an activated AP at MCO with no problems. I have also bought APs at my local Disney store and activated them at Epcot. All that said, I have only been asked for an AP once, and as I was getting set to pull it out of my wallet, the CM said "That's ok." The CM's have never actually seen the APs I did have!

I dont think they ever ask to see the APs because they have it in the system that you have one. They always ask you for your phone number for APs or reservations. I think It all shows up on thier database. CRO will also tell you all you need is the voucher to check in. Wildeness and CBR did not ask for ours in July this year.

Can I purchase an activated pass at the Disney Welcome Center in Ocala. Thanks, Susan

Pooh's Pal--Yes, you can purchase an activated AP in Ocala. We did this two years ago and will be stopping to purchase new AP's this Dec. I called Ocala just to make sure this was still the case and was told --yes!

I don't want anyone to get burned here so let me just say I have been asked to see my AP. It was at the Polynesian and honestly I was taken aback because I had never been asked to see it before.
