When to send fax..

Hi all,
We are leaving next Saturday morning and will arrive at the Animal Kingdom Lodge around noon. When would you recommend that we fax the resort with our requests? Should I even do this at all? I'm planning on asking (nicely of course) for an up-grade from standard view anyway.

Room assignments are made four days before arrival, so it wouldn't hurt to send a nicely worded fax tomorrow (if it's this Saturday) when the assignments will typically be put into the system.

I usually fax my requests the Wednesday before the Saturday I arrive. I have had good luck so far. But tomorrow (Tuesday) should be fine too.
