When to Reserve for Christmas ?

We are considering a Christmas trip to WDW for 2009.
Our first time to WDW for Christmas and 1st time for
WH !!
When should we try to book our 3b condo ?
We would probably leave the day after Christmas, and stay for a week.
Anyone's advice for this week @ WDW would also be appreciated !

I'd say no later than March and now wouldn't be too early. It's the busiest time of the year and the parks will reflect it. We're going December 27th this year and I have no illusions. The crowds and lines will be awful without a doubt.

We booked our villa for XMAS 2008 in Sept 2007 and was able to find many to choose from at very good prices. The only negative thing with booking so early is that you need to be sure about your dates and that you're going to take the trip because a non-refundable deposit is usually required when renting from a private owner.

We've been at XMAS twice before and will be back again this year, and my best advice would be to subscribe to TourGuideMike. Well worth the small amount of money IMO.
