When to rent points...

Hi! I've rented points once before and might look into this option again for our next trip. We are probably going to go to WDW starting 1/1/04 for 3 or 4 nights only so my daughter won't miss school.
How soon do I need to start looking for points and/or how late can I wait? Thanks! Shan

The earliest you can make your reservation will be on February 3, 2003 adding one day for each day of your trip until the entire reservation is placed on February 5, 2004. If you want to be absolutely sure that your reservation is placed, you should make your point arrangements now and have the member place your reservation on a daily basis until it is complete. That said, I forsee the only difficult date being January 1, 2004, the other dates should be no problem if you want to wait longer. I have points available at all of the DVC Resorts.
