When to rent points?

I have rented points before,but i did it with a month before our trip. (not smart) I, would like to go to disney June of 2010, when should I post a request for points? (reservation) Thinking of (resort removed) or (resort removed), any Suggestions would be great.

Owners of (resort removed) or (resort removed) will have first booking advantage for June 2010. That is 11 months in advance (July 2009), so I'd suggest looking for an owner who wants to rent points in mid May to early June of 2009. That will give you and your lucky owner about a month to work things out before the booking window opens for your requested week.

I edited the post to remove specific date and resort information, as that would be considered a "Reservation Wanted" post, and would need to be on the Rent/Trade Board.

To answer your question, for June a DVC owner at your desired resort can begin booking in July, exactly 11 months prior to you arrival date. You should probably post your desired dates and room size on the Rent/Trade board about a week prior to the reservation window opening. (11 months and 1 week)
