when to purchase tickets????

We are going to Orlando spring break March 2004. How soon do you need to purchase tickets for either WDW or Universal. Do you get better prices earlier? Thanks

since the tickets don't have a specific date you have to use them, you don't see early-bird discounts on them BUT you do sometimes see specials that aren't normally available. I think the 5day Park Hopper Plus with 4 Plus options instead of 2 usually is only easily found around August/September. Mousesavers is usually the best source of where to find specials (and here )

Another thought is that for WDW tickets since they don't expire if you purchase them now then you will "save money" if they increase the price at the beginning of the year. We're not going for a couple of years but I am putting aside money each month and will buy them when I'm able. I also think buying the passes early helps to spread out the cost of the vacation overall.
