When to purchase the DDP

Someone mentioned that I can't purchase the DDP after booking the room and Park Hopper tickets? WHAT? My *********** agent hasn't mentioned that. She told me that we could decide later about packages. We went ahead and booked the 4 studio rooms at Pop Century along with ParkHopper tickets. We are planning to add DDP's on at least 3 of the rooms I'm waiting on 4th room to decide. And we are possibly ordering the Grand Gathering safari ride and Cirque Du Soleil tickets...

Is this going to work? She is from *********** and I know that she is familiar with everthing ticket. So what gives?

I dunno....we booked our March trip a couple weeks ago with Small World travels and she said you can add the DDP up to 5 days before the trip.

You can add the DDP, but only if you have already purchased a room/tickets package. If you purchased the room and the tickets separately, you cannot add DDP.

I had just the room booked and added the dining plan and tickets to our reservation about 13 days before we arrived. It took about 30 minutes on hold to transfer our room (Christmas time) to the new reservation. It didn't bother me one bit since I was doing my prepacking preparations (shampoo in little bottles etc). I had been told when I booked originally that it could be added until 5 days prior.
