When to plan my next trip?

Hi friends! Since I went on my first solo disney trip in April I’ve been dying to go back. I’ve got two clear openings in my schedule for the next few months: mid June (think the 14th-19th roughly) or the second half of October. I don’t care about Galaxy’s Edge, MK and ADK are my two favorite parks. Part of me says to go now before the Galaxy’s Edge crowds get wild, but I know the weather will be better in October. Then there’s also the Halloween party and all of those extra magic hours. I’m an early bird so it would be easy to take advantage of those. When would you go? What are your pros and cons?

Agreed.

By far, the majority of the myriad thousands of guests planning on going to WDW when Galaxy’s Edge is open will ALSO plan on visiting the other parks during those trips.

Most of our trips have been late May/Mid-June (the school thing) and we have found the weather to be hot but very doable and enjoyable.

We have always gone in June (school) we did, however, do a February trip this year. It was nice, crowds were still crazy(dance/cheer competitions and the 15's) but we LOVED the cooler weather.. that's a really tough choice..I think I would still go June ..

We did a Feb trip once when my daughter was only 7. It was great but tourists were in bikini's at the pool and the locals were wearing winter coats. LOL

It was a little more difficult as my DD is in 8th grade but the quarter had just started so... but yeah it was awesome watching SW fireworks with hardly anyone there because it was 60° and everyone was complaining how cold it was!!

October is great, but finding an on-site room may be challenging as it’s very popular - Halloween party, Food & Wine Festival. June would probably be much easier in that regard.....and it’s closer!

I would go October. Better weather and MNSSHP. You can avoid HS, if you aren't interested in GE. October is most likely before the full land opening of GE (no exact date yet, but assumed to be Nov/Dec sometime), so you won't have that to deal with.
