When to plan for spring/summer trip

Hi,

We have never to FL during the warm seasons and would like to schedule a trip before it's too expensive to buy tickets.

What is the best time to go with inexpensive airfare, minimal crowds, and comfortable weather. DD is 2 and DS is 3 so I don't want them to suffer under hot weather.
