When to order a cake?

Hi, we're heading down to Disney in a couple of weeks and my DD is going to turn 4 mid-trip. We're heading to CRT for a special breakfast, but I'd like to have a cake waiting in our room when we get back. We're staying at AKV Kidani in a 2-br and I saw on the cake chatter thread that I could order a zebra striped cake.

Here's the question, should I order it before we leave or can I just order it once we're there? We are checking in on Sunday night and her birthday is Thursday.

Now someone tell me to get back to work.

I would say to go ahead an order it now. You may have to wait a day or so before that particular person for the resort gets back to you if they are not there. I ran into that. They do need at least 24-48 hrs in advance if you call from there though.
