When to meet Merida

We want to meet Merida while we are there. The hours for the day are 8-11 and her hours are 8:30-6:15. We are offsite and probably won't arrive until 9:30 or 10:00. It's just us two adults (the girl I'm going with has red curly hair and gets Merida comparisons all the time so we think it'd be fun to get their picture together). Would it be best to go straight to her or will lines already be long and it won't matter too much? Are there any good strategies about when to get in line?

When were there in October she was meeting in "sets" during the posted times. We happened to walk up as they were starting the line for her next set. They cut it off at a certain amount of people. Then when they go through the line, she takes a break and they start a new line. It moved pretty quickly for us. Not sure if they always do it that way or not. It was our first time meeting her, and she was awesome.

when we met her in April there were 2 people in front of us, it was probably around 9 or 9:30 in the morning, so basically no line at all. If you are familiar with MK she is on the left before you get to Alice and the teacups.

Id go straight to her...we try to get there by 9:15 her lines do get busy and hot!!! So def get this done sooner than later so you are not too hot!!

We will make it our priority! Makes me wish we were staying on site... My brother lives in Winter Park (an Orlando suburb) so we're going down to visit him but one day while he's working we are going to MK. Sadly, its close enough that it's an excuse to go, but still 40-60 min away during rush hour. And of course we're going on a Monday and will be leaving at about 8 that morning right during rush hour. It's all worth it I suppose since we likely won't be back for a couple of years at least

She was a great meet for us. Very friendly and my daughter felt like she spent a lot of time with her. We have great pics. But only part of the line is shady. We didn't wait long but I'd go in the morning before it gets too hot. No need to rush though.
