I just got a bid for 2 rooms at Wyndham Orlando through Priceline. When should I call to request double beds and an ajoining room? Thanks in advance...

Hotels have only a limited number of available connecting rooms. If you have young children let them know you'll get priority.

Go to www.wyndham.com and join their "Wyndham by Request" program. If you can't get adjoining rooms by requesting them on the telephone, they may honor the request when you present your membership card at the front desk upon check-in. Also they will send you a basket of fruit, wine, cheese, soft drinks, etc. after you've checked in. It really was a nice treat.

You will need to call the hotel directly due to thye nature of your reservation. The national reservation line has no record of you.

I did all of the above, and the reservations lady was super nice. Are rooms are connecting, two double beds each and in a quiet area of the hotel. She even told me about the McDonalds across the street which in itself sounds like an adventure! I started with a reservation at Sierra Suites for one room and decided to try priceline and got two rooms for the price of the one room at Sierra. Trade off no kitchen but with three daughters I think having two rooms will be a vacation saver (at least for hubby anyways)
