When to make final payment?

We're leaving for a WDW and Portofino trip in about a week (Yikes!), and I have some final concerns. The most important one being when is final payment due at Portofino? I read my confirmation letter and it doesn't say anything about when payment is due. Of course, I made my down-payment a long time ago. (Oh, I'm at work right now or else I would call Portofino. I knew you guys would know and this is more convenient for me to do at work than make a phone call.) Thanks!

i was wondering the same thing myself. we are going in november and wdw package has to be paid off sept. 19. i have no clue when to pay portifino. hope someone here has an answer.

Unless you have a package usually the hotel bills one night and when you check in you pay the balance. That would be for hotel only. Packages are usualy paid upfront 30? days or more prior to arrival. I booked Hard Rock using entertainment rate and just sent a check in full so that was one less expense when I get there. I was told normal policy was one night on CC and pay in full the balance at check in. How did you book your trip?

JessicaR: No, I didn't get a package. I booked my trip by calling Portofino directly (or maybe it was a general 1-800 number for Universal--I can't remember) and using the entertainment discount. I just bought my 2-day 2-park tickets from AAA and got the 3rd day free. You know, I planned to pay this ahead of time, but WOW...this trip just snuck up on me! Thanks for answering.
