I was just trying to get some ideas. Trying to figure out when to leave disney. This is our first trip and i know no one wants to think about leaving, but from past experiences when is the best time to leave. Morning after noon or evening?

flying out around noon is nice... this way you have time to pack up and leave after the sun comes up. I hate early flights. Later flights would give you more time in FL but then you get home late. Also depends on if you have to work the next day!

Agree with babywewe (love the name!)

It's nice to get in a ts breakfast at the hotel and take a last stroll around before heading back to the airport. When flights are later, we tend to find ourselves sitting and waiting and getting depressed that the trip is over.

Actually, we always spend out last night at the Hyatt that's right inside the terminal at the Orlando Airport. That way we get to spend as much time at WDW on our last day as we want to. We drop off the rental car, and even if we've already eaten dinner, we order snacks from room service & just relax. The next morning we take out a really early flight, which is no big deal since we are already in the terminal. There's no stress about getting to the airport on time. It's a really nice hotel & it sort of eases us out of Disney & back into the real world.

We like a late afternoon flight (around 3:00 p.m.)
That way we can sleep in a bit and then pack everything up that morning, and enjoy a late breakfast or early lunch before we leave. The town car service picks us up at our hotel around 12:30 or 1:00 p.m and drives us to the airport with plenty of time to spare before our flight. When all is said and done we are pulling into our driveway around 6:30 or 7:00p.m.

When We went down in January we had an 8:30 am flight home ...it was a killer(with2 kids)we had to be out of the resort by 6, so I actually had packed everything the night before and dressed the kids literally for the next day when they went to bed that night. Then to drag them to the front lobby, into the airport and onto the plane was just way to much!We actually felt like we lost a day of our stay because of the return flight time.So next month we got a 4:30 pm flight and that will be much nicer! :sunny:

Probably around 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. Early morning is a no-no, you'll be too tired to notice anything really.
