Hi, rings  and welcome to the DIS boards!

January can be unpredictable, weatherwise, but the average daytime high is around 70 degrees. If you hit a cold snap, however, you could see temperatures dipping to the 40s or lower. I think I'm right in saying that the cold snaps tend not to last for longer than a few days, so if you have a two week holiday you're likely to see at least some good temperatures.

Whatever weather you have there, you can bet it's going to be warmer than it will be back in the UK at the same time ;)

Crowds will be low in January almost immediately after New Year, so at least you shouldn't have long queues to contend with. :)

Any more questions, post away - we all love to help with planning.

l went end of Jan/Feb last year and it was great. It wasn't really hot, lightweight jacket mornings and evenings, lots of sunshine and no rain. We went to wet and Wild one day and were just warm enough. No queues except for the Safari ride and Busch. It was really nice. l would definatley go again this time of year although you couldn't gurantee to be able to go swimming, although my boys spent at least l hour in the hotel pool everyday.
