Hey everyone, we're having some trouble deciding when to visit the world next year. Last time we went first 2 weeks in December and loved it, we're hoping to replicate it.

So my question is, is there a 2 week period during the rest of the year that would be the same? 5 min wait times etc. preferably looking for a time when it's not raining all day too :)

This will be our first trip during the first two weeks of December and can't WAIT to see WDW during the Holiday Season!:santa:::thumbsup2

How did the weather wind up being? I guess that the wait for attractions was short based upon your post?

THANKS!:)

First two weeks after Labor Day is perfect if you can stand the heat. Low crowds and lower prices can't be beat. You'll be drenched in sweat by 7am but really who cares?

I might suggest mid to late April (after Easter). Because Easter is on the 5th this year, you could leave for WDW sometime around the 16 or 17 and completely miss the Easter crowds.

April also, historically, has less avg. rainfall than December and the second lowest of the year (after November). Add in avg. highs of 83 and lows of 59 (usually a bit higher in the second half of the month) and the weather will be great.

If you around the time mentioned, crowds will be about the same as they'd be in early December. I'd say 4s and 5s for the most part. Maybe some 3s, which is really not crowded in the scheme of things.

While you won't have the holiday decorations around, there will be the Epcot F&G Festival, which is very pretty to look at. Beyond that, because there's only a small window of time between Easter and Memorial Day (thus the start of the summer crowds), Disney doesn't plan too many refurbishments during this period as well. That's not to say there won't be any but not nearly as many as there'd be in say September or even December to a lesser extent. Also, the tight time usually means the refurbishments are only a couple of days instead of a month. With a two week trip, you could easily plan around them.

Overall, April is an awesome month to visit.

We love September! The most we waited for anything on our last trip was ~10 minutes. We had rain showers at around 3pm almost daily but they only lasted 20-30 mins.

Low crowds are my #1 priority, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread :magnify:

Plus, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party starts September, and all the decor is great!
