When to go?

Hi,

we are planning our next trip for Christmas next year.

Can someone tell me what dates would be better for me to book at any other DVC resort for one of the weeks?

We want to be away for around 17 nights. 7 nights SSR - 3 night disney cruise - 7 nights at any other DVC hotel.

All we would like is to be there for christmas eve and the rest can be before ie. going early Dec or staying into Jan instead.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Personally, I would not want to be in the parks the week between Christmas and New Years. I would go before Christmas, visit the parks that first week, go on the cruise and then go back and do a non-park week. I would want to leave on Christmas or the day after.

I would go to Disney for a week, then cruise and return to do Christmas at Disney but leave on the 26th. By going to Disney for a week before the crowds get there...you can do all the fun activities but when you return for your second week...you can just take it all in and just enjoy the atmosphere. Spend Christmas Eve and day there but DON'T GO TO A PARK ON CHRISTMAS DAY. Have fun.
