We currently have our trip booked for October 20-28, but I'm getting nervous that it will still be very hot for our 2 toddlers. When would you go between Oct. 20 and Dec. 10?

I think this NE heatwave has me nervous about keeping them cool and hydrated. They'll both be 17 months in Oct. FYI - we want to be able to swim.

Thanks!!

The first week in December would be too cold for me to swim, but I'm from Houston and might have a different standard than someone from MA. I have been at the end of October and it was still nice for swimming most days, but still not so hot we were uncomfortable--maybe hot in the sun, but nice in the shade.

I think that if you want to play it safe, to go in mid/end of November. October can still be in the uper 80s, and December (when we are going) can be quite cold in the morning and in the evenings. As far as swimming, in November and December (especially) it can be hit or miss. Some days you'll be sweating to get to the pool, and other days you'll be in light jackets. The best part of going in the end of Nov, and any time in Dec is the lights - we can't wait to see them!! Have a great time whenever you choose to go!

October can still be pretty warm and humid--in my experience.

Early December can be gorgeous or rather nippy. Usually closer to gorgeous, but have experienced down-right cold!

In December, 2007, we had absolutely gorgeous weather the first 7 days of our visit. Warm enough to swim at midnight! *LOL* The last three days the jet stream dipped down--it was 35 degrees at 1:00 p.m. the day we left! *BRRRRR*

I would go the week of November 17th. The weather should be good and crowds should be low. October can be hot and wet, early November has Jersey week and then Super Soap Weekend. November 24 is Thanksgiving week and then you run into Pop Warner week the first week in December.

Hey, first of all, whats wrong with Jersey week???:goodvibes Second, Pop Warner week is the second week of December this year.

It's hard to know. Last year, I was in Orlando Oct (last week) Nov (2nd week) and Dec (2nd week). The coolest time was Oct - it was way too cold to swim, highs were only in the low 70s. Nov & Dec were wonderful - mid 80's every day, and low humidity, and DS (at age 7 & 8 months) was in the pool each day.

Other years, it's almost gone down to freezing in the 1st week of December.

I guess there are no guarantees that time of year for either too hot, or not too hot weather. I've even been in late April when it was too cold to swim.
