The link was very helpful. Thank you.
Looks like French schools don't start summer vacation until early July and then we need to avoid the long weekend in late may or early June.
It looks like in your signature you have stayed at different DLP hotels. Can you tell me about your experiences at each one and which one you like best.
No problem.
I haven't been as often as MOST people on these boards

but I can certainly give my experiences.
Dream Castle - not a Disney hotel, but a partner hotel (along with Explorers, Kyriad, and Magic Circus). These hotels share a shuttle bus (every 20mins) to the parks,. It can get crowded, but it's fine! Very high quality we thought! Hot items as part of breakfast as standard, and the room had a HUGE double bed and bunkbeds that had it's own curtain - so a bit of privacy from the adults!

Didn't know about pixie dust! We used the pool here too - a bit cold, but we only had park tickets for 2 days, but were int he hotel for 3 nights, so made use of it the first afternoon.
Cheyenne - great cowboy theme. All rooms are in individual blocks but we were lucky and had a room that was the closest to the park, miles from reception and breakfast, but ended up suiting us as we walked to the parks almost every day. Rooms looked tatty though - definitely in need of refurbishment!!! Clean, but just worn out. One double and bunk beds. Continental breakfast only. No pixie dust - though I left it to hubby to tell hotel that it was DD's birthday, so who knows what (if anything) he told them!!
Sequoia Lodge - Lovely rooms, recently refurbished. Two double beds. Big room. Lovely feel to the place. All rooms (bar a handful) in the main building. Closer to the parks to even easier to walk, but although there was a door almost directly below us that we could get to from our room to leave the hotel, we couldn't use it to get back in, and it was a LONG walk down 3 long corridors at the end of a day! (Well, it seemed long to us! lol). But that was luck of the room, and we'd asked for 'ground floor' room (same level at reception) as my FIL had hip replacements a little while ago and he thought this would suit him best. Had emailed for pixie dust, and had some lovely free gifts. Breakfast continental but you can apparently pay for hot items (the info on this were difficult to spot).
If we had the money, we'd go back to Sequoia Lodge. I also want to try New York (and obviously the main
Disneyland Hotel)... one day! Would also not have any problems returning to the Dream Castle if none of the Disneyland packages worked out for us. In fact, hoping to book a night at the Kyriad (another to try!) to extend out October trip by one extra night.
We're trying the Santa Fe in October, and I have high hopes due to it's recent refurbishment! Reviews on here have been good so far! Also, they're in separate buildings too, so I'm working out which blocks are closest to the park again for easy walking!
Hope that helps - obviously it's only my opinions and experiences.....
