when to go Oct or Nov 07?

I am trying to talk to hubby into going to the world for 2 weeks ( including travel time, we are going to camp) for Halloween 2007.. that leaves up with about 9 days. we want to do the halloween party but not on halloween..here is the question... when should we go for the 2 weeks before halloween and leave nov 1st or should we go a week before halloween and do a week in nov... crowd and weather wise what is better?... we will have a 4 year old and an 9 month old

I think either way is good. Weatherwise... it's not going to change too much a week or two later. Late October is very low chance for hurricanes, early November almost nill. Temps still warm both weeks. Crowds are the only thing I'd check on if I were you. For example, the two weeks prior to Halloween might have nothing going on and the two weeks after might include Jersey Week and SuperSoap. I'd check on those dates first.
