Im really stuck and dont know what to do. I wanna go down for our anniversary and so does DH which will be in August so we will also be there for the year of a million dreams celebration. But I really wanna go in december 2007. If we went in december it would be Dec 3 - 12th and for August, August 6 - 15th. We will be staying at the AKL. Reason why we wanna go for our anniversary is because we didnt have 1 this year due to DH being in Iraq. We've never been down there for xmas and would LOVE to go. Even tho DH wants to go for our anniversary, he wants to go down for xmas as well sometime. So what should we do? August or December?

I think you should do something locally for your anniversary, and go to Disney around Christmas. I heard that the 2nd week of December is nice. The weather and crowds will be better then http://www.touringplans.com/tp2/UG2_index.php?PageID=14 , and the Christmas decorations will be up. If you get a REALLY good picture taken, you could use it as your Christmas card for the following year . . .

There is absolutely nothing like Christmas at Walt Disney World. The parks, the resorts, all decorated, the HUGE Christmas trees, the lighting ceremonies, the Candlelight Processional in Epcot, storytelling, Osborne Lights........ need I go on?

We've been in August and to be honest it's nothing special! Christmas on the other hand looks beautiful. We would go, but prefer the warmer weather and less crowded season.

So I'd say Christmas!

My birthday is August 9 and in 2004 I went then. I'm glad I went once on my birthday, but I said "Never again!" It was too hot and crowded for me (and I'm from the South)!

December is my favorite time to go!

Christmas is the most amazing season to visit WDW and the AKL is decorated in the most amazing way.

If you have never see Disney decorated for the holidays, then you MUST see it!!!! It is sooo pretty. You will also get to do all of the special holiday things.. Osbourne Lights, CP, Holiday story tellers in Epcot, Tree lighting ceremony, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!! We have been going over Thanksgiving while the kids were off as our 2nd trip of the year.. and its just gorgeous that time of year!! We cant go In November this year :sad1: Im making up for it though, by going next month, hitting a very early MNSSHP and free dining!!! :woohoo:

December at that time will be value season and should be very UNcrowded!!
