When to go in Sept? Help

We just canceled our WDW trip and decided to go next Spring so we can see the new Fantasyland stuff.,....,so....

Decided to do Disneyland in Sept. our last couple trips have been in Nov and during thanksgiving...

Now we are looking at week of Sept 8-15....4 days in there somewhere

Is HM, IASW, and Space all closed ? Thanks for any help on picking dates

From what I read, hm and space are closed till the 14th for the holiday lay over. We're looking at going the 20-24th, because we really want to see all the Halloween things but don't want to go to the mhp so those dates work best for us. I'd say if you want to see the Halloween things and ride hm and space then I'd push the dates back.

September.

First week that has Labor Day included is mildly busy. Longer Hours and possilby full entertainment.

2nd week, crowds drop to close to nothing. Only Friday afternoon, evening and night and Saturday and Sunday area busy. Because of this weekdays have short hours limited entertainment. Weekends have full entertainment and longer hours.

3rd and 4th week repeat the pattern of the 2nd week.

Slight hijack of the thread.. what url are you using to see refurbishments that far ahead. The calendar I am looking at on Disney's site ends at the end of August.

We'll be in the parks twice for September, I am sure anytime you go will be great. I am kicking myself that I didn't schedule our trip around Dapper Days but will make it a point to go next year.

HM and Space go down annually to recieve special seasonal overlays. They both reopen for the start of Halloween that's season was announced a couple weeks ago.

Space only takes a handful of days so it will be open Labor Day week. HM take a few weeks so will probably close the last monday in August.

Some major rehabs may also start at the end of August but most wait until after Labor Day or its week.
