We have just come back from orlando during the easter holidays and are planning our trip next year.

Are there any better times to visit orlando during the school holidays?

thanks!

Just do them all then you know which is best, We go Xmas, Easter, August and Oct(Disneyland again this Oct).
October is the quietest but most schools only get 1 week. We took our son out for 2 weeks every Oct (2 weeks before half term)when he was at Junior school, now at High school wont do that, although some do. Xmas is by far the busiest, Easter and August are similar, August quieter towards the end as US schools go back early to mid August. August is now also busier that in previous years because of free dining at Disney.

My son and i have been in Oct and Aug. Oct was def quieter and we got tp do Mickey halloween party that was great fun. Last summer we were there late aug and it was busier but not unbearable.
this year we are going a week before the school finishes- i think it depend on what fits in best with you :-)

I've been deliberating this for DD (then 9) and I next year :)

The choices are Easter, May or August.
Given that the weather will, probably, be more favourable in May, I think I'll be taking her out of school for 5 days :)

I believe that the crowds might well be less then too.

Having been both Easter and Aug, in previous years, I have to say that we've survived but May seems an easier option :woohoo:

If you dont like extreme heat of summer then May is a great time to go. We dont mind Aug weather, hotter the better for us.:goodvibes Not been in May for a lot of years but the crowds were low when we went.
We will be doing Easter again next year but it starts 22nd March, it is going to be too cold if this Aprils weather is anything to go on. Whatever time of year its better than being at home.:)

I have to say October. I have been in May, July, August and October. I love October. I think its mainly because the parks were not overcrowded and MNSSHP. I loved seeing all the little halloween bits around the parks. The party was amazing. The best firework show I have seen. I definately recommend October. :thumbsup2 Hands down

This will be our 3rd time travelling at the end of May, Our 2 DD's are 8 & 6, we're quite lucky as our girls get 2 weeks off at Whit so that's when we usually travel, apart from this year we're leaving a week later, the weather's usually very hot, humid and quite wet :rolleyes1 , but who care's we're in Disney :rotfl: :rotfl: . But I would love to give it a try in Oct ;)
