When to go in Nov/ Dec?

i have just checked the school and national holiday guide in the useful info in sticky and it says dec 8 was a public holiday in 2011...i have just booked this date for dec 2012!! Can anyone know if this is the same this year? please someone help...i havent booked flights yet so could change dates with DLP...but after I book easyjet flight too expensive to change....xx

In Italy is holiday dec 8th so if it's close to sunday or so it's likely visitors from here could be more than usual

yeah i have just checked and dec 8th is a public holiday for Italy and dec 6th and 8th are both public holidays for spain so basically I couldnt have picked a worse time to go will disneyland let me change dates without having to pay?

It's not France as there are no public holidays in December ever besides the 25th and no school holidays

Dec 8th is always a public holiday in Italy but this year it will be' a saturday and so i dont think it will affect a lot the presence of italians there. I mean school will be' normal as every week, it would had been different if the 8th would had been thursday or friday or monday.....

We are going on the 2nd dec so hopefully it will be quiet

i have watched youtube videos of someone there on the 8th and 9th dec and it didnt look too bad

Isn't November 19th - 23rd over Thanksgiving? If I am looking at the calendar correctly Thanksgiving is on November 22nd. If that is correct then it will be crowded. Thanksgiving is very crowded time at Disney World.

No public holidays in Italy then but before changing check opening times and beginning of the christmas season, are you sure it's worth to change???

I shouldn't worry to much over it. I'm going in feb school holidays but can't help but go then. Im sure weekends will be busier so if you go midweek may be better

We were there last year over those dates and hardly had to queue for anything. Don't worry about Thanks Giving, it's not a holiday we celebrate or even really acknowledge in Europe so won't make any difference whatsoever

I wouldn't have thought one day's holiday in Spain would make any significant difference to visitor numbers to DLP, maybe if there was a school holiday for the children but as it's not I wouldn't worry about it.

It's not going to make any difference to Spanish numbers. Or anybodys numbers for this one.

If it had been a week long affair it would be a bit different.

Far worse would have been you making your reservation for a French public holiday or when local schools are off...then you'd be seeing crowds.
