When to go in January?

Heard not to go during new years holiday since kids arent back in school yet....then there's the marathon over the 12th weekend...when does that crowd disappear?..also heard of big crowds over MLK weekend...anybody can confirm? Just cant decide??

We went January 2007 during the week between the marathon and MLK weekend. The marathon doesn't seem to make the parks crowded, but MLK did. I would definitely avoid MLK week.

we went the sunday the marathon ended this yr .. by tuesday, the crowds were gone! walked on to everything .. even did soarin many times!
