When To Go In April

I know Easter is early this year and Georgia schools have spring break early in April. My daughter's 5 birthday is april 20th have any of you been mid or end April and how are the crowds. We ususally like to go when the crowds aren't as heavy. Did not know if any schools have late spring breaks or when college spring break was. Any ideas?

LI schools have spring break the last week of April. We've been to WDW in April and though it is not the slowest time, it is the best time IMHO. The weather is gorgeous, crowds are manageable and it's just the perfect time of year.

I think with Easter being in March, maybe April will be less crowded this year (of course we aren't going this April )!

there have been lots of discussion about this already and we too are hoping for a quiet April d/t Easter being in March....upstate NY has spring break April 17-23, but downsate is last week and rest of New England seems divided between those 2 weeks...we have 2 colleges in our town and they have spring break end of March.....so hopefully things will be more spread out this spring and besides Easter week maybe it will be not really noticable....

remember that early May starts celebrations for Disneyland 50th...

some schools from LI New York are on Spring break the last week of April....that is when we are going, but it is considered "regular" season at Disney, not peak.

yep, my nephew and his family were gonna go then until they found out how expensive everything is(mainly the air fair) so now they are going april 25th-may 3rd(I myself am going april 22-30th), I went same time last year and it was great, not busy, good weather.

As far as colleges go, most have spring break in March. They tend to finish classes in May, so they can't get out in April.

my mother and i visited wdw last april during my high school spring break from the 23rd-29th. the weather was beautiful and the parks weren't crowded at all...we are used to going in early/mid august, and we noticed that in april, there were many more strollers/children under the age of 5.
