When to go - help please!

My turn - need your expertise and feedback! We are normally fall/winter people so not the best info from our experience here! We really want to fit in a trip (5 nights) prior to the huge crowds and busy summer - we can't STAND the crowds. However, can't go until after March and of course would like to avoid spring break stuff.

Between April & May, what would you all recommend? Was thinking that last week of April to May 2nd - thoughts or feedback on crowds? I'd like a Sun-Fri. I don't think I can handle Saturdays...lol

Out of all of April/May, I'd say that is the best time to go. You don't want to go early in April because of Spring Break crowds, but by late April, they're pretty much all gone. When you get into late May, you start getting early summer crowds. So late April/early May is great!

As for going Sunday-Friday that also sounds good because you get the low crowds in the middle of the week and you get the wonderful entertainment on the weekend nights.

Oh thank you so much! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your advice! I can skip the entertainment to avoid crowds, I'm okay with that! lol... But yes, it is wonderful!

Don't forget to check the anaheim convention calendar before you book. I think there might be a rather large convention at the beg of may.
