Offsite in November @ a Windsor Hills condo OR Onsite with free Dining Plan in September?

November the weather would be nicer and we could stay longer but Sept is FREE dining...decisions, decisions....

It is too hot in September for my liking. Free dining isn't that big of a draw for me. I have a few favorites at WDW, but I'd prefer not to eat every meal there anyway.

I would always opt for cooler weather and the spaciousness of a townhome at WH.

We'll be at WDW Nov 10-17, and I can't wait for the Christmas decorations and MVMCP! :santa:

Either way you'll have a good time. Good luck choosing!

If we can stay longer we jump at it. There are so many places to eat that are great outside of Disney. We do enjoy some Disney restaurants but not worth a shorter stay in my mind.

Thanks for the great responses! I think we will just keep our plans to go in November! I'm really looking forward to the cooler weather...besides we can have a longer trip if we go in November and will already be saving $$ by making most of our meals at the condo....Plus 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer will be really REALLY nice.

We are also going Nov 10-17th!! See you there!! We can't wait!! Then we will be spending another 4 days at Clearwater!! We are so excited!!

Thanks again for the feedback!! You basically reiterated what I've been telling myself the last hour or so. :)

We went last Sept and said we'd never go in September again. It was WAY too hot for our liking...in the 90s and humid every day. Plus, it's peak hurricane season, and Ernesto delayed our travel plans last year. We also have lovebugs while there in Sept, and they're everywhere at that time of year (but that alone wouldn't stop me from going).

The one really good part though was the parks were just virtually empty!!

I would go with lower crowds, better weather, and no hurricances in November!

We went in Sept last year and as was said, it was way too hot and humid. Also there are lots of lovebugs in Sept. They don't bite or sting but they are a nusiance when it comes to sitting by the pool (unless you have a private screened pool) or going to the waterparks.
We had though to take grandkids for this Sept but after last year we decided on the first two weeks of Nov. :yay:

We are going in November for our 1st family trip so it's great to see all the positive responses for that month!! :) We will be there from Nov. 10-18!! The kids are getting very excited!

Thanks AGAIN for all the great responses!!!

NOVEMBER IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe...in spite of my September advice we may go down in Sept now, our place is open, and it looks like I may have a vacation window to take advantage of (due to impending lack of a job). Hey, why not go to Disney!! LOL

:thumbsup2
