Thinking about a trip in march/April time.

Just not sure if better in march - cheaper and prob not as busy. Or April for 20th celebrations, but its easter and will be busy and more expensive.
Would need to be first 2 weeks of april time before DS turns 2 and we need to buy a seat on the plane for him!

Any ideas, noone else in the party would be bother about the 20th celebrations apart from me and even i am not too bothered but it would be nice.
We were there last march so still quite a recent trip if nothing new happening.

Looked at SL for 4 night and its approx 700 pounds but for 5 nights its over 1000?!
NB is cheaper than SQ for 4 nights. We stayed at HNY last year but too expensive this year. Is NB better than SQ?

Sorry for the rambling questions, sort of thinking while writing!

Thanks

Personally... I'd wait for the 20th celebrations but I would wait until after the Easter holidays as I can't imagine it'd be anything less than crazy busy then.

Could you maybe stay at a cheaper hotel like the Cheyenne and pay for your LO to have a seat on the plane.

We've been in March twice and loved it (Once was over St Patricks day so there were a few extra things happening that day) but we did feel like we'd have got more out of the trip if we'd waited until April, for us it was budget restrictions and we couldn't really downgrade much to change that enough. Especially as it's such a special celebration and the new additions look amazing (Dreams for example) I would definitely wait.

We are going in March. The reasons for this are threefold:

1. It was much cheaper than going any time later in the year.
2. As it's my Daughter's first trip we are counting on it being a bit quieter than it will be during the 20th Anniversary stuff
3. Her birthday is in March, so it was nice to make it coincide with that.

I am a little sad that we will miss out on seeing the 20th Anniversary stuff, but I don't regret booking for March.

We are going in March but like the above poster it is for our DD birthday otherwise we would of waited all the new 20th celebrations stuff looks Amazing!!! I would defiantly wait!

Have you priced up for the seat for your DS? You might actually find it's not that expensive - certainly not the full price an adult will pay on most airlines.

As someone else said, if you have a budget then maybe stay in another hotel if you are willing to?

Like others, I would wait to see the new stuff but try and avoid Easter - take advantage of the fact DS is not at school yet as then it does get very expensive and very busy . Going with a 2 year old in school easter holidays might not be much fun if it's crazy busy.....

we're going in March. again. I do regret we miss all thee 20th aniversary stuff, but on the other hand...

I myself prefer less crowded and I try to avoid huge events due to masses of people. I get angry, unhappy, unsatisfied... Just like my little one :goodvibes
I'm taking both my kids this time, off season seems better - we can take our time, no rush. and it's little one's first time. Well, I'm not a huge event fan - what can I say :rotfl:
Money - it's much cheaper to go in March. I priced April, got a price shock.
we've got some trips planned for summer, plus the crowds, plus the summer heat (I don't feel too well being in sun and when it's over 25 degrees).
If we did go in April, or May, we woudn't do 6night/7day trip and no HNY for sure.
