We want to see the Aladdin musical next Thursday for the 2:05 show. How far ahead of time do we need to get in line to be sure we get in? We have a PS at Ariel's at 3:00, so I don't want to miss it because I'm not sure we'd be back in time to catch the 4:20 show. Also, they generally start on time, right? We'd have time to watch and still make our 3:00 reservation?

We saw it for the first time in early August. Being high season, it was busy. We went to the 12:30 showing, and got in line at noon. While we were nowhere near being first in line, our family of 6 got pretty good seats in the second row Mezzanine. I think they have to start pretty much on time because of the multiple shows each day. Our show started about 3 minutes late. The show runs for about 40 minutes.

Here's the funny thing about arriving late. We got caught during the Block Party and had to go the long way around in order to get to the Hollywood Backlot area. We went through the Orchestra line with minutes to spare and ended up getting good seats after all! There were three chairs next to the first divider of the aisle and we grabbed them. It was a spot perfect to be up close and personal to when some of the actors/animals come through the aisles! It's always good to get there early, though, because they WILL shut the doors the minute it's showtime, or not a minute too soon!

I went in early August, and arrived no more than 10 minutes before showtime. We were pretty high up, but got in easily, and all seats are good. It's a big theater. During the off-season, you shouldn't have any problem getting in. However, if you want lower seats, around 1/2 hour prior to showtime should do.

Can someone tell me more about the show? Is it in CA or DL? Is the show 40 minutes? Thanks princess:

The show is in CA in the Hollywood backlot. It's supposed to be a 40 minute broadway-quality musical. I've heard that it is excellent, but I have not yet been myself. It does not run every day, so check the park schedule for availability.

We saw it last Sunday. We got in line about 30 minutes prior and were in the Mezzanine (second level) we had seats about five rows from the front on the for right. Pretty good seats.
With the crowds on Sunday you probably could have gotten a seat right up until show time.
