When to expect to be able to use new points?

Hello! We added on a resale contract at Aulani this summer. The contract shows up in my DVC dashboard, but not the points. The only answer I can get from DVC regarding when I can use those points is that they cannot answer. I'm curious how long it has taken for others to be able to access new points. I have hopes of booking Aulani in January for December of 2022. Am I fooling myself to hope that can happen?

I was able to get them loaded bugging someone on chat.

It takes about three weeks (I JUST went through this and got points) for points to land in your account for you to actually use. How long since the account was established?

I was on the phone for another reason with DVC Admin a few minutes ago and the person I was talking to was the only person working on processing contracts at closing.

Yes, I think you're right. It sounds like something is off. I've done email and chat (hoping to avoid the hours-long phone wait times I've been hearing about), and both of those have only gotten me the form letter responses. I will bite the bullet and dial the phone!

Yes, definitely call. I called member services the day after contract showed up (new member) and they added the points over the phone. I was also luckily able to book a stay a month out, so I'd say anything's possible just need to stalk availability and be prepared to book right away. Good luck!
