  YIPEE!!!!  Just checked the mail and I got more information from Disney- I just LOVE getting mail from Disney- and it has luggage tags in it. Am I correct in thinking that these are not ME tags? They just look like luggage tags with the castle on them. I was thinking someone posted the ME tags are yellow or something. If anyone can help with this I would appreciate it.

I want something in the mail from Disney.....

Me too! We booked through DU & my agent said Disney sends it to them & they send it to us, so it may take longer...

I'm in the same boat- 33 days & counting.

I went to bed last night wondering when we would get ours also. We booked through AAA- I think if I don't see them by the end of the week I think I will be calling.

Do they come USPS or UPS or FedEx?

I made my deposite to hold the room===still owe a balance. Will they still send my me in the mail??? i think we are about 39 days out??

We got our package in the mail yesterday also. :cool1: There is a little note in there from Disney that says the tags that came along are just ID tags and that the Yellow ME tags will arrive with a package about 3 weeks before your date of arrival. Hope this helps!

It was definitely exciting to get those in the mail. And they look pretty cool and my DD2 just loved carrying one around last night looking at it. :cloud9:

We're just 27 days away and none of us can wait. :hourglass

DME tags are sticky yellow paper that have information and barcods pre-printed on them. The hard plastic luggage tags you're talking about are just little souvenirs. You really should have a "permanent" luggage tag on each piece of luggage anyway (both checked and carry-on), so if you don't have one already then use those WDW ones. They come with a blank card that you can fill out and place in the plastic sleeve.

But DME tags come in the mail as part of a complete DME packet, usually around 3 weeks prior to departure. These are sticky paper tags that are meant to be removed after you use them, in exactly the same way that you remove airport luggage tags (the ones with the 3-letter airport code on them) after using them. Again, the DME tags have pre-printed info on them, such as the "main name" on the reservation, the name of the person on who's bag the tag should go on, the reservation number, etc.

And by the way, if you booked your trip through a travel agent, your travel agent will receive the DME package in the mail (or FedEx, or whatever). It's then up to your TA to get it to you or to notify you to pick it up.
