When to book vacation

Its me again. Who knew a Disney vacation would have so many decisions.

When should I book a Spring Break Trip without fear of it being sold out? Do AAA rates apply to WDW?

I always say, book as soon as the thought of a trip enters your mind. If you book through CRO, you can cancel and get the deposit back. I booked our next trip a year in advance, in fact just three days from returning from WDW.

AAA rates for 2003 are out. I would call now since only a limited number of rumbers are availabe at the resorts. On August 1, 2002 I booked POR for nine nights during Thanksgiving week 2003.

The General Rule for Resort Reservations is book as early as possible if your visit is on or near a holiday.

AAA pkg rates should be available at anytime.

You can always change your reservation later if you find a discount (mousesavers) or decide you need to cancel. The cancellation policy is 5 days prior to your arrival, allowing you to get your deposit back,

So I would definitely reserve your room NOW!!!

I'm a plan-a-holic so I make my ressies about 1 year in advance then apply discounts as they come out. Planning is half the fun!

I agree with everyone here, book as soon as you decide you want to go. In fact, I'm in a bind because I know we're going to want to go back sometime next summer. We knew this as soon as we decided on annual passes a couple of months ago. The problem is, I can only handle one trip planning obsession at a time. Also, we'd like to do some resort hopping while we're there so we can decide where we want to stay. The minute we get home ( well, maybe the next day ) I'll be making reservations for the summer trip. That will be the latest I've ever waited to make reservations. At least it will make leaving DW not quite so depressing!
