Hi y'all! I'm excited to have another trip booked in August (an 11-day vacation of awesomeness!), :goodvibes and I've been looking into tours. We've never done any before because we usually stay 8 days and like to have a lot of park/ride time.

I'm particularly looking at Backstage Safari, DiveQuest, and the AKL Night Safari because we are staying at Kidani for the second part of our split stay. But I've heard conflicting information about how far out you can book tours--some places say 6 months, some say a year etc. Does anyone have a definitive answer? I'd call and ask myself, but my phone is currently suffering the effects of being accidentally drowned in a toilet… :rotfl:Thanks for any help you can provide!

My husband has done DiveQuest 3 times. Each time I have booked it 6 months out. (He loves it, obviously. Worth every penny!)

I book our tours on the same day as our dining reservations. Another tour that is great and worth every dollar is the Wild Africa Trek. There are discounts available on some tours so ask - they offer Annual Pass, AAA, DVC discounts.

Thanks for the help! So you're saying I can book all of my tours on the 180 mark even if they are more than 180 days away (i.e. similar to the 180+10 for ADRs when you stay onsite?)

Yes, 180.

Discounts for all the tours, though not the resort specific ones. AAA (sometimes), DVC, AP (15%), Disney Visa, (20%).
