When to Book Tea at GF??

I'm thinking about taking my mil for tea at the GF in Oct. How popular is this with others? How far ahead will I need to book this? (We haven't been able to decide on a day, so I'd rather not book it at 90 days out then change our minds.)

I have done this as close as two hours out. The big problem we had was they do not have a computer at the podium and our names were not on the printed list. However, we "persuaded" them (by asking for the manager) to go into the back where they checked the computer and saw we were there and had to seat us.

I think it depends on the time of year and the luck of the draw. When we did this December 13th of 2003. I remember because it was the Saturday before POP opened. We took my mother outlaw out as a special treat. They were booked for the entire day and said that the next opening was not available for 3 days. So, I would say to make up your mind soon, just in case. Maggie
