When to book hotel for best deal? (November)

We've already booked our nights at GC for end of November, but are looking to book another night at an offsite hotel for the first leg of our trip (we are flying in from overseas, spending a night in Anaheim, then driving around SoCal before returning to the GC). Family of 5 and we're pretty flexible between Homewood Suite, Hilton House, Courtyard Marriott, etc (any of those suite-type places). Should I book that now for a good rate, or hold out till closer to travel to get a last minute deal? It will be Nov 19, the Sunday night before Thanksgiving, if the crowds will affect the chance of a discount. Website recommendations? Or book directly on the hotel websites?

You need to book ASAP. There are probably hotels that are already booked for your dates.
