when to book Honeymoon

When is the best time to book our honeymoon if we are going in April (26th)?

Also what are the crowds like at that time - it is 2 weeks after easter - will a lot of the kids be back at school?

We book our vacations 12 months in advance. If you want something specific, or are staying in an area with a limited # of rooms, like the WL honeymoon rooms, you need to book as soon as possible.

We booked ours over 1 year in advance. (roughly 15 months) We stayed in a honeymoon suite at the Grand Floridian.

We have gone back each year since (four trips) and nothing ever compares to the room we stayed in at the GF.

From start to finish the staff made it a wonderful experience.

We were also married at the end of April a week after Easter. The crowds were very moderate didn't wait to long for any ride.

The weather was perfect....not a cloud in the sky all week. If you look at a weather chart for WDW April gets the least amount of rain each year.

When we got engaged the 1st thing we did was book the WL honeymoon suite. That we knew was a definite. I would definitely try (as others have posted) to book your honeymoon asap!
