We are headed to GWL in Williamsburg to celebrate our kids' birthdays. We are pretty locked in on the date, a Sunday night in early May. I keep waiting for a promo code before I book but so far the only one that is out for that timeframe is for a 2 night stay and we can only do a 1 night stay due to scheduling. I can get a room now for right around $200, should I just go ahead and book or should I holdout for a promo and a better rate?

If a promo comes out can I add it to my reservation? They charge a $40 fee to cancel your reservation so cancelling and rebooking isn't so simple.

Thanks!

They actually applied a promo for us without my even knowing. I noticed an $80 credit at checkout which appeared as a credit on my card a couple of days later. Only downside was I had to pay the full amount when I booked.

ETA: I would book now if you can afford the $$ upfront.

I wouldn't wait.

My friend is going to the one in Cincinnati this summer. If she would have booked in January, it would have cost about $200 a night. She waited until last week to book and is now paying over $400.

Have you signed up for the email? The last email I got was save 25% off two or more nights (I know you said one night) from 4/12-5/21... of course limited availability book by 4/6 promo code is SPRING

Yes I have signed up for the emails and I have seen that offer. We can only do the one night though. Wondering if the chances of them offering another promo for that time frame. I'm guessing it's pretty slim.
