When to arrive for tour?

We have The Keys to the Kingdom Tour planned for 9am which is park opening. I'm thinking we should already be at the tour office at that time, not just waiting to get in the gates. How early should we arrive to the gates, and, assuming there is special gate for people who have early ADRs and tours, where is it? How early will they let us through for a 9am tour? What time should we be at the bus stop to MK from POFQ?

This is our first trip to WDW so assume I know nothing.

I would think you'd be totally fine arriving at the gates by 8:30a. I forget what turnstiles are available for you, but it will either be marked or you can ask any CM in the area.

I do believe that at MK for breakfast reservations (and I'd assume early tours), the entrance for you will be all the way to the left right before the train station. I've been several times this year to MK for rope drop and that seems to always be the place where their letting in the people for reservations

They want you to check in for the tour 15 minutes ahead of time at the Chamber of Commerce bldg near City Hall. From what I have been told, you either go to the far left or far right turnstiles to get in early (sometimes it is one or the other?)
