My friends and I are goin to IOA and HHN later in the night on the 27th. A married couple with us have Premier passes which we'll get discounted tickets for either a 1d1p (or 1d2p) to IOA. 1d2p as to we might hit USF in the afternoons even before HHN.

Will they be 50% off this year?

I've not seen the 50% off lately for tickets. I do check the AP website monthly. This is always a great deal when it's offered.

I haven't seen it either but it's usually for November and December so we might see it again soon.

A little off subject, but it reminded me of the last few years, when went the first week of October, and tickets were way cheaper than this year. I paid $99 for a 5 day pass w/ park 2 park. This year I paid $114 for 2 days no park 2 park. I assume they just raised the prices after the new WWOHP opened, but that is a huge price increase.

Yeah...the rise in ticket prices made a lot of people mad but...what do you do?

The higher prices certainly didn't keep people away as we've just seen with the new numbers that have come out.

With WWoHP they no longer have to discount the tickets in order to get the crowds.

Before WWoHP opened I had no interest in visiting Universal at all, cheap tickets or no cheap tickets. Now that WWoHP is open not only am I visiting, I'm doing a week long Universal Only vacation. I was lucky enough to get the $131 tickets when they were on sale but I would have paid the regular price if I hadn't found those.

As long as WWoHP keeps bringing in the people I don't see very many discounts offered.
