When they pre-charge your CC for Cinderella's Royal Table

What is actually charged? The meal only, or do they pre-charge tax and/or tip as well? If so, what percentage amount? I have a mystery charge on my CC from WDW Dining Reservations for $193.57, and I'm trying to figure out if that is it. BUT, the CRT dinner for 2A/3C comes to $170.35 ($40.99/$25.99). Can anyone help?

that I can't figure out what it is. The charge is for $193.57 and says WDW Dining Reservations. We are 2A/3C and are on the DXDDP. We are eating at CRT for dinner, PSB for dinner, and supposedly cancelled HDDR. I thought they just use your CC to hold the charge for the Princess meals, not actually run it through if you're on the DDP. We are also going to the P&PP, but I have that charge separate on my CC.

Can anyone help me figure out what the charge could be? I've run the numbers and nothing matches up. I don't want to call if it's a legitimate charge. Thanks!

Do your numbers make sense if you add an 18% gratutity? Maybe you wer accidentily charged for CRT or HDDR?

Sounds like a charge for the ressie that they supposedly cancelled.
I would call. There is no reason why you can't just ask. I think it is perfectly acceptable to inquire about a charge you are unsure of and they probably get alot of questions.

It does sound like the supposed to be cancelled ressie. We are on the dining plan for our upcoming trip and still we were charged for CRT. Happened in Feb too. I had it reversed in Feb but just left the charge this time. I also noticed that when we booked a tour it showed as Disney Dinning on the online statement. Just a thought. I would call just to double check. Hope you are all feeling better and have a great trip.

I'm going to call them tomorrow. We cancelled our 2/2 trip as my son was ill. But this charge was made on 1/30. Strange.

We were charged the entire package with tip at 18% for our dinner at CRT. And it was charged at the time of booking. Good luck on this. Seems strange.

Morning,all. It was for CRT and supposedly has been reversed so I'll see a credit. They actually charged the wrong amount too (too little), so that's why I couldn't figure it out. 18 days to go!

I just made an ADR for CRT dinner this morning for DD5 and myself. We are NOT using the dining plan. My CM was great (China was her name) and I she informed me of my total and that INCLUDED the meal price for 1 adult and 1 child, plus tax AND 18% gratuity.

I will admit I'm a little confused by already being charged gratuity because I thought that was now left up to me with all the changes to the DDP, but now that it's paid, it's paid and I don't have to worry about it when we actually eat in October!!
