When there's a special kids' buffet, do kids have to eat off it?

I have PS for Cinderella's Gala Feast at the GF--2 kids, 2 adults. However, after seeing the menu, I know my oldest's tastes are going to run toward the adult fare (except maybe for the mac and cheese). She's just not going to want a hamburger or hot dog when there's prime rib on the other buffet. Is she going to be able to cross over or does paying the child price limit her to the child buffet?

Thanks

Your child can eat anything at the buffet. Our kids had some of both- chicken strips and salad stuff, bread, pasta, etc. And, I snagged a chicken strip off the kids buffet and ate it as part of my dinner!

I never had a problem with this with my children when they were younger. They would often mix the buffets choices on their plates. I think the children's buffet table serves two primary purposes:
1. provides a separate area to keep most children out of the way of most adults at the buffet line
2. provides familiar foods to picky eaters

My girls would be willing to eat most foods, but I have a nephew who went through a period where he would not eat anything that was not a chicken nugget or hot dog!

BTW, I would always grab a waffle or two from the children's buffet at the Crystal Palace to get a Mickey waffle.
