When the Monorial is closed.....

at Disneyland for a few months beginning in 2006, will Disney resort guests still have their own exclusive entry or will they have to wait in line at the entrance along with the good neighbor hotel guests? I'm considering another trip there Superbowl weekend and would like to know this.

The monorail is not exclusive to Disneyland Hotel guests. Anyone can board at the Downtown Disney station and enter the park as long as they have a park ticket. The only perk that DLH guests had was an exclusive monorail entrance in Tommorrowland when going back to DD.

The web site www.riderefurbs.com indicates that the Monorail MAY be down Jan - June 2006. The question marks probably mean that this in unconfirmed or tentative.

When the monorail is down, all guests will have to enter DL through the main entrance. I believe the DCA exclusive entrance through the Grand California can be used by all Disney resort hotel guests whether or not the monorail is running..

The Monorail will be down when I'm there.

The last time we were there (years ago), Tomorrow Land was all tore up.

The monorail will be going down because they have to redo the station and move the elevator and whatnot in order to get the loading and queue area for the subs ready. I've heard that it'll be down for a full year (and monorail cms haven't said otherwise).
