Have you ever almost referred to or introduced your husband, son, daughter, etc. as "DH, DS, DD, etc". You know, you see someone out at a restaurant and instead of saying this is my husband _____, you actually say " This is my DH" I've almost slipped a couple of times, I'm sure they along with DH would think I'm crazy and totally obssessed. :)

I've also said LOL out loud when I think something is funny.

Yes, I've done that. So far no one has caught it, but someone will someday.

I am guilty of saying LOL in real life (that term cracks me up since I'm pretty sure I am real when I type on the computer). And I have almost introduced DH as DH caught myself though.

On another note DH wants to know why he is my designated hitter :teeth: (baseball term)

I've done this and been embarrassed. I've also referred to annual passes as APs, early entry as EE and the resorts by their acronyms

Usually I'm not even aware I'm doing it until the person I'm speaking to asks me what the heck I'm saying :teeth:

I thought you were going to say called your kids by each other's names...like my parents used to do! I only have one child. But I cracked up last night when I called my son Skippy and the dog Richard. LOL!

Pin Wizard, I do that all the time , call DS either Charlotte (DD) or Annabelle (DDOG), Called Charlotte by DS - Zachary. Once when DH and I were in a fight, I called him Tripp (my brother) I guess fighting and using DB name was such a habit it just slipped out.:)

Oh yes, I have had to stop myself many, many times! LOL!

I work parttime at our TDS, and when speaking with a guest about character meals last week, I told her that her 5 and 7 year old princesses would love CRT.

And yes, I said CRT not CInderella's Royal Table. She looked at me and said, "I'm sorry, what did you say?" I was so embarassed, but can laugh about it now! :)
