When staying at SSR do you request/prefer a certain floor???

I was wondering if most people request a certain floor when staying at SSR? We are going HOME in 12 days and I have a request for Grandstand this time. I think we were 2nd floor over in Congress back in Aug. but I didn't think to request a floor too. Thanks

I always request the highest floor. We were nearly robbed one time on a ground floor of a hotel so I'm now paranoid. I really love being high up at Disney because of the great views!

Thanks. I think I will request top floors or at least upper floors.

We also request highest-floor-available (or not-first-floor) but mostly because we enjoy sitting out on the balcony and if we're on the first floor, we only have the patio and would rather have the feeling of privacy that the balcony offers vs. the patio.

I too just put in a request for upper floor and have always gotten 3rd or above which satisfies our need enjoying the view from a balcony.
