When should we receive our luggage Tags

Last time we went we had a Room Only Reservation. We were sent luggage tags beforehand but I can't remember how far in advance we received them. Does any know long how far in advance we should receive them?

My arrival day is Aug 10 and the envelope with the Magical Express stuff is postmarked Jun 29.

My room only arrival date is Aug 25. Yesterday I received my ME package and I only had vouchers for my return trip on Sep 03. On the inbound portion, the voucher stated "no flight information provided". I called Disney last night and they told me not to worry about it, because our names will be on a "list". Does this sound right?

As long as your tags are with your booklet that will be fine. All the info in the booklet is really for your arrival. When you get down to the ME counter and check in they will confirm your return flight information. The day before you leave WDW the ME envelope will be on your door knob with your information for your pick up time and your voucher for your trip back to the airport.

DME materials are mailed out about 6 weeks prior to check-in.

For no flight information, don't worry about it coming in. When you check-in at the DME welcome desk, make sure they have or you can provide them with your return flight information (airline and flight number).

I received the DME packet one week ago and the WDTC packet the next day (with the luggage tags), this was right at the 5 week point. If you waited until exactly the 45 day point to make the final payment it may be a few more days but you should receive it between 4 and 5 weeks before your arrival date. Obviously if you make reservations less than 45 days before arrival that would impact when you receive the DME and reservation material.

We arrive on 8/25 and our Magical Express packet came today and for the first time in 3 trips, all the info was accurate!!!!! (Never, ever had a problem though- those folks are terrific! )

We arrive at WDW on Aug. 15, got our ME documents on July 7. The rest of our stuff arrived several days later. So today we are 28 days from departure and we have all of our travel documents.

Yup!! I paid off in January and just got 'em now.

Pardon me for a slightly off topic question, but are we supposed to get TWO packets from disney? I got my luggage tags and hotel/package documents two days ago for an August 20th arrival, but only received one envelope of stuff.

You will get one from Magical Express with the yellow luggage tags and one from WDW with the pretty luggage tags and final docs (at least those on a package do- can't speak for room only ressies)

Our vacation is Aug. 21st and we got our ME packet July 10th and our reservation packet from Disney today! Never so excited to get mail before.
