When should we have Wegoshop deliver?

Hi all,

We will be arriving next week, Friday, 8/26. Our flight arrives at 1:30pm, and we are renting a car. I scheduled wegoshop for 3 pm. The email instructions I received told me to call when we get in the room.

When do you have wegoshop come? I was thinking either we would get into our room a little early (this has happened to us every time we have stayed) or we would have the bellman hold the groceries.

What should I do here? I can't wait around, as we have Fantasmic! dinner package at 6.

Why don't you try to move your reservation a little later? You are cutting it really close because you may not even get into your room until after 4.

I always have the delivery be 5pm - you will definitely have a room.

I didn't think so . . . maybe I'll have to reconsider. We are staying at BWV - we arrive in Orlando at 1:30 and were just going to walk or take a boat to MGM for dinner. With all the free dining, 4:45 was the latest I could get. Maybe I'll try again. If we miss these ressies, it's not the end of the world - Prime Time is not my "must do" of the week. I didn't think checking in and dinner was "packing alot into one night". Guess I'll have to think about it.

I would try to call Disney dining again. When I have gotten times I did not like, I have called back until I got the times I wanted. In fact, just last week I was able to get that Fantasmic dinner. Previously, I was told that night was sold out. Good luck!

I called Disney Dining and was able to get a 6:20 seating at Prime Time. Now there's a later opening! I still want to get over to the park ASAP - drop the luggage and run, but now I don't have to! Thanks for the advice. (I may even try the early morning idea!)

Becca said that you don't have to be present in the room for them to deliver. Just tell them at checkin that you are expecting a wegoshop order and you want it charged to your room. Becca will leave the order with them and they will store it for you, cold food and all, until you return. We had it set up this way, but when I called Becca at 1:30 that we had a room number, she was over within 10 mins, the time it took us to get to our room so we paid her directly. Just tell Becca to charge it to the room and make sure you tell the castmember upon checkin.

Thanks for that info. Wish I had known that in June. But all worked out for us. We had delivery scheduled for 4:30 and were able to get into our room at 2:30. We called and they delivered at 4:00.
