When should i start planning?

Ok, we won a trip to Disney this year. We went in June/July and I loved it there!!! I didn't want to come home. I want to go back again, but money wise, it won't be too soon. I am thinking I would like to go over Thanksgiving of 2006. When would be a good time to make reservations so I can start paying monthly for it? We stayed this time at AKL and loved it, but I also want to try somewhere else. If its affordable, I was hoping the Contemporary, but if not, then the All Star Movies. I also need to do reservations at Discovery Cove for my dd when we are gonna be there, my ds got to swim with the dolphins this year, so dd will get to in '06 (she wasn't old enough this year).

I would make reservations for the hotel as soon as you decide where to go. I made reservations last December for a stay this coming December. If I had waited any longer, I wouldn't have gotten my first choice.

Same with the PS. Call as soon as you reach 90 days before the PS date. ESPECIALLY for during Thanksgiving.

Congrats on winning that trip! I'm VERY jealous!

Holidays do book up fast so it might be good to go ahead and reserve somthing sooner rather than later. If you look on the codes and discounts threads between now and your next visit, you might find some extra pointers for saving money, like AAA discounts, Annual Pass (AP) discounts, etc.

You also might want to check out the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) DIS boards on this site as well and look into buying in. I became addicted to WDW at age 11 and finally was able to join DVC a few years ago. Now I have 50 years of WDW vacations to look forward to.

my son entered through the National Christmas Tree Association. You can look up their website, they are doing the contest again this year. My son won the 5-8 yr old category.
